 Rick Liebman, CFO
Rick joined The Brenner Group in 2008 after serving in senior operating and financial positions for a wide variety of entrepreneurial firms. Over the last 25 years, Rick has been CFO at several public and private companies, and spent two years in France managing the European operations for a medical device company. Rick started his career in Investment Banking - first at C.E. Unterberg, Towbin and then at Oppenheimer & Co., raising equity capital for over 40 companies.
Rick's operational areas of expertise include finance and accounting, budgeting, legal, MIS, and human resources. He is also skilled in managing external relationships with public and private investors, as well as bankers, auditors, lawyers, and the insurance communities. Over his career, Rick has participated in raising over $100 million in private venture and institutional capital, and well over $500 million in public offerings of equity and debt securities.
Rick earned his M.B.A. degree in Finance from Columbia Business School and his B.A. degree in Economics from Brown University.
