 John Beck, CFO/Vice President
John joined The Brenner Group in 2003 and brings over 25 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning and execution for technology firms. He has held full-time CFO positions with both public and private companies, and, in addition to finance, has broad experience managing cross-functional areas such as IP management, legal, treasury, risk management, HR, IT and facilities. John’s background also includes managing the accounting, finance and reporting requirements of European and Asian offices.
Before joining The Brenner Group, John served as CFO of Silicon Bandwidth, Inc. of San Jose, CA where he completed a three-year audit and established policies for revenue recognition, capitalization of fixed assets and other operational areas. Prior to that, he was CFO and interim CEO for Campbell, CA-based nDSP Corporation where he drove a successful M&A transaction into Pixelworks. Before nDSP, John held CFO positions at various Silicon Valley software, hardware and semiconductor firms where he managed M&A transactions, accounting and finance computer system upgrades and various business and distribution agreements. Prior to his tenure at technology firms, John held senior audit positions at several “Big 4” public accounting firms.
John earned a B.S. degree in Commerce with an Accounting emphasis, cum laude, from Santa Clara University. He is also a licensed C.P.A. with the State of California.
